There are two cool ways to view National Geographic's new MetaLens mapping technology:
The GeoStory Player - a captioned slideshow mapped to GPS coordinates, which has been set up to follow the Antarctica2008 expedition chronologically.
MetaLens Share Screen
This approach features a larger map component, with an image list and a smaller image display. Great, too. And you can choose your preferred map view in both programs: topo, aerial, shaded relief... Check it out.
